Our Story
The Ejaosan Network began in 2016 with a simple act of kindness: support for one girl who was at risk of leaving school. That small, human gesture became a promise — to make learning possible, safe, and joyful for girls who are often overlooked. From a single scholarship and community conversation, we listened, learned, and grew. We piloted literacy clubs, mentorship circles and creative leadership labs, and partnered with schools, families and local organisations.

What started as help for one child is now direct support for hundreds of girls and a wider impact reaching thousands through our programmes, research and storytelling. We combine practical school support with mentorship and creative skills so girls can shape their futures and the public conversations that affect them. Every classroom we support and every story we share is a reminder that when a girl is given the chance to learn, whole communities rise.

Success Stories
Our impact is measured by the voices of the girls and young people whose lives we’ve touched. Here are a few stories of transformation that demonstrate the powerful difference your support makes:

"After my father passed, I gave up hope of ever returning to school. Thank you for bringing me hope again".
 -Khadijat, Scholarship Recipient

“Before I joined the mentorship programme, I wasn't sure what path to take. I was struggling with my studies and feeling lost. My mentor helped me discover my strengths and guided me every step of the way. Now, I’m on track to graduate —something I never thought was possible before."
– Amina, Participant, Nigeria

Where We Operate
We are proud to have an international footprint, reaching girls and young people in some of the most underserved and minority communities.
-
Nigeria: Our foundational work began in Nigeria, where we focus on girls’ education, mentorship, and leadership development in communities where girls education is low.
-
United Kingdom: In the UK, we are expanding our programmes to support young people, particularly from minority and Black communities, offering mentorship, courses, and leadership opportunities.
-
Expansion Goals: As we continue to grow, we aim to expand our impact to other regions, to empower more girls and young people with the tools they need to succeed.
