End Rape: #BlowAWhistle

The trauma of rape, the shame, the stereotypes and the long, often, unattained walk to justice are undignifying, life-crippling experiences that should be avoided at all cost.

Unfortunately, the last few weeks in Nigeria has witnessed a spike in the report of rape, sexual harassment, gender abuse and worse yet, murder. We find it imperative to initiate a more profound and practical engagement to stop the rising cases of rape and sexual harassment.

It is in this regard that we have conceived the #BlowAWhistle campaign.

#BlowAWhistle is a call for action.

It requires all women to have a Whistle in their possession and blow it when they, or any other woman, are in distress or danger. It is both symbolic and practical. It is a call for help. Blowing a whistle alerts bystanders and neighbors of impending danger.

#BlowAWhistle campaign is a practical initiative against rape.

Be a part of this movement. Buy a whistle.
